Bizcon Group at the Watches and Wonders exhibition in Geneva.
At the beginning of April this year, one of the most anticipated and prestigious exhibitions in the world of watches and jewelry - Watches and Wonders 2024 - took place in Geneva. Our founders took part in this grandiose event.
One of the most significant moments was the meeting with the legend of the watch world - the founder of Jacob & Co, Mr.Jacob Arabo. At this meeting, we expressed gratitude to a compatriot from Uzbekistan for his contribution to the development of the watch industry and presented him with a unique personalized lyagan, handmade by craftsmen from the small village of Rishtan in Fergana region.
After this, a meeting with representatives of Norqain was on the schedule. At this meeting, the prospects for cooperation between Bizcon Group and Norqain and planning for the launch of the Norqain brand in Uzbekistan were discussed. The Norqain stand impressed visitors with its technology and its commitment to the brand's traditional style and theme. Guests of the exhibition could design a personalized watch model and place an order directly on the company’s website.
A meeting was also held with Jean Marie Challer, founder and creative director of the Louis Moinet brand. This year the company introduced a new collection of watches. Each of the eight models represents a city that impressed Jean-Marie Challer during his travels. A modern interpretation of the iconic odyssey created by Jules Verne, the Around the World in 8 Days collection combines art and watchmaking in equal measure. Jean was greatly impressed by our gift, which was also made by the best ceramists of Uzbekistan.
An equally interesting event took place at the Tudor stand, where we were able to talk with one of the most famous influencers in the world of watches - Teddy Baldassare. During this meeting, current trends in the watch market and possible prospects for cooperation were discussed. Our director invited Teddy Baldassare to visit Uzbekistan, share his experience with local audiences and get acquainted with the rich history of our country.
And of course, we couldn’t help but look at the exhibition with our partners from BOVET, which was taking place nearby. BOVET stays loyal to its traditions and surprised all the guests again with its new developments and stunning timepieces. Especially we were pleased to meet again with the owner of BOVET, Mr. Raffi, and discuss further plans for our cooperation.
In general, the visit to the Watches and Wonders exhibition in Geneva was an important step in the development of partnerships and strategic plans of the company in the watch industry.
